My 94 Explorer won't start.

thanks mr shorty, and evertone, yor're right. i ran a diaganostics on the truck and it showrd that i had an egr insuficiant flow. but that wasn't enough to make the truck shut off intermittmently. the car wasn't exhaling like it should.sent it in for cat replacement. that shop took it upon themselves to send it next door to the auto repair shop to see why the cat had failed. they started diagnostics and informed that the repair would cost around 1000. bucks. that repair was refused. do you think they might have cut some wires?ive heard bad stuff about this shop creating repairs.
