I just got a '94 Ranger XLT. Had some probs w/ the starter and had it replace by the dealer(home town dealer). Now it seems everytime I want to head back to Spartanburg from Clemson my truck choose a spot where I cut it off, to either fill the tires or gas, or just where I parked it, and wont start. Previously it seems once I kick it in neutral and push it a little it'll start. Last time it did it once I got it to start I put 9 gallons in the gas. But the latest time I jumped in and it turned but won't catch. Pardon my poor machinical lingo, but it sounded like it usually does but just didnt start. I can hear the fuel pump when the key is in the on position. Battery cables are connected well, and are clean(new battery too). The radio and all electrical systems seem to be working with the key in the on position. Can anyone give a simple explanation and tell me how much its gonna cost me. The only thing I and my friends can come up w/ is a bad fuel pump.
Thanks,
