I just got a '94 Ranger XLT. Had some probs w/ the starter and had it replace by the dealer(home town dealer). Now it seems everytime I want to head back to Spartanburg from Clemson my truck choose a spot where I cut it off, to either fill the tires or gas, or just where I parked it, and wont start. Previously it seems once I kick it in neutral and push it a little it'll start. Last time it did it once I got it to start I put 9 gallons in the gas. But the latest time I jumped in and it turned but won't catch. Pardon my poor machinical lingo, but it sounded like it usually does but just didnt start. I can hear the fuel pump when the key is in the on position. Battery cables are connected well, and are clean(new battery too). The radio and all electrical systems seem to be working with the key in the on position. Can anyone give a simple explanation and tell me how much its gonna cost me. The only thing I and my friends can come up w/ is a bad fuel pump.
Thanks,

OK yall,
After readin about a million theads and having a friend drive an hr to come check it out. I found a thead that said something bout checking the fuel relay, and since my buddy that drove an hr said it was the pump, I figured I'd check that before I spent $120. And guess what IT WORKED. Started really even quicker, but that might just be me not having drove it for 2 wks. Anywho, where ever and who ever posted that thread bout checking the fuel relay THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!
