('94 Sport) Trunk Lock Stuck?

Here's the issue:

I hit the unlock button inside my drivers door today and the passenger unlocked, but the trunk did not. So I then went to the back and tried to use my key instead, the key also did not make it open.....

What is the problem?

Did you try to crawl through the back seat to unlock it manually? I think once you do that you can open the hatch and diagnose the problem more thoroughly. Sounds like it might be a bad wire. I know by using the button to unlock it more than using the key tends to let the tumblers inside seize up from corrosion. Try spraying some PB-blaster inside the key hole and see if that frees it up some.
