i have a 94 4x4 XLT with an auto and lately its been acting up alot. when coming from a dead stop it will not shift to second unless i take the rpms to about 2500, then let them drop just below 2000 and start to give it gas again, then it will shift into second. it shifts to the other gears on its own. also i tried to pass someone on the freeway to day at about 55 and i gave it gas and it just shifted into neutral, and went back into gear after i let off the gas. this is becoming a little dangerous to drive so any help would be apprectiated, but i think that i probably need to get it rebuilt/replaced.
