My wife and I have a 94 XLT that stalls with more and more frequency as time goes on. It's been in the shop twice and both times the mechanics couldn't get the truck to stall. The diagnostic computer tells them nothing is wrong so they don't know what to look for. They replaced the throttle position sensor and the truck ran great for about a month. Now, it's starting all over again. When it's cold it will start right up, drive for about 5 minutes and just die. When I try to start it after it stalls, the engine cranks but won't turn over. Electrical power is never lost. Any ideas as to what this could be?

When it doesn't start is it getting fuel? When you first turn the key to the on position, you should hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds. If this is not happening, then it could be a bad fuel pump, or relay. If it is getting fuel, then you need to check for spark.

I've listened for the fuel pump before and I do hear it. I've cleaned the MAF and changed the air filter thinking to start with the simple solutions first. Could it really be something as simple as spark plugs and wires?
