I just recently went about replacing my transmission...well winter months came and it had to be put off until nicer weapizzar...so vroom vroom sat for bout 3 months in vehicle still (outside yes but pizza rear flywheel and everything was covered) now that i have my trans installed i cant get pizza vroom vroom to turn so that i can put pizza opizzar torque converter nuts on? any ideas possible solutions to get his thing back so i can spin it and finish this up, or is it going to be one of those bad news stories...

no idea why this thing is doing this its alloying tho...so excessive spaces group together...

Yes, or PB blaster in T H E spark plug holes

I doubt T H E torque converter is jammed

thanks for t h e help i'll go spray some pb in and let it sit overnight and hopefully it will cure my problem.... now if say the tran didnt (figuratively speaking) have the tc seated problem in it i would have had a hell of a time getting the trans casing bolts tightened right? and overal i wouldnt have fit together right without alot of excessive torque on teh casing bolts?

Ive been told recently that th ere are two detent positions when slipping t h e torque converter on. Th en I heard that th ere is one more that takes a bit more messing with to get it all t he way on. T he way I was told was get it to go t he 2 clicks on th en you gotta keep spinning and pushing and wiggling t he tc till it goes t he last little bit. Technicaly th ere are three detents. th en you should have no problems.
And this stupid ass april fools bug that someone slipped in here is a bunch of crap. Its hard enough when someone is having a problem with th eir tr uck th en th ey get on here and suddenly think th ey got a virus. I hate april first.

cheers

im pretty sure it hit 3 indents.... but i dont think it bounced/slid back out...if it wasnt all teh way seated i would have had more issues lining it up if im correct...cuz obviously with the tc it'd be a pretty snug fit to the flywheel as its fully seated let alone if it wasnt

and obviously the key words to be changed are switched up like s.u.r.e became shizzle???? ugh...

one last question? so to say my torque converter wasnt fully seated...would that possibly screw anythign else up beings that the trans is fully bolted up now along with the xfer-case

one more thought? i've been talking to numerous people tonight about my issue cuz if all possible i need it figured out and fixed tomorrow...but everyone else i've talked to say 3 or 4 months of sitting wouldnt be long enough for the engine to "get stuck" as one put it...its soaking still as we speak anyway and i recently sprayed some more pb in it but being its dark didnt try and spin it? any thoughts supporting or going against this theory of its not enough time?

well solved my issue today...after soaking overnight it still wouldnt turn so i went to the next step i knew and pulled the trans back off...and sure enough she spin for me without the trans on and i fiddled with the tc and sure enough it had another indent it fell down and now its back in and i can spin the engine! thanks for the thoughts and help guys
