once at operating temp. after driving a while and shuting the truck off it will not restart right away. Cranks over with no fire, or what appears to be no fire. Had one of my techs. scan it this morning with no codes stored. The MIL has come on and gone off from time to time. Smell lots of fuel out the tail pipe. Recently repaired several vacuum leaks at the junction block at rear of manifold. After sitting for approx. 10 minutes it will restart and stumble while clearning cylinders for about 10 seconds. Not sure what direction to start on this one as i dont have much experence wth domestic stuff. Also not having time or money to put one of my techs on it either. ANy help is greatly appriciated. OH yeah, IAC gives me constant troubles but cleaning from time to time seems to buy me alitle more time. Could this be a problem as well? When it acts up it is usually a HIGH idle of about 3-4KRPM.

THanks in advance fellas,
D.

I would put a pressure gauge on the fuel rail to see if you have leaking injectors. I would also just replace the IAC and check for manifold leaks as well as any other source of a vac leak. You probably have a few things going on due to the age of the engine.

i will see if i can find my gauge set later on today. Thanks for the thought.
