So I have been looking all over for some artic style fender flares for ex's but turned up nothing. The only solution is to make my own, it will be a long time before i get them done, but when they are done I will be left with the molds, and i was wondering what the demand is like for them, either way im making them and they are gona be bad a** and if you want some made they will be somwhere around $500+ shipping for the whole set, still a ton cheaper than anything else out there plus they would be made specifically for ex's.

make them fit with a 35 inch tire and i would take a set,,
you can look on my registry and see how much i cut from the front and back openings,,

35-38'' is the range i was thinking of w about 4-6'' of flare out, and where the hell did you get those rims!!!

o and have made an offroad bumper and a wicked roof rack

And one of my local ex freinds said while im doing the fiberglass stuff i should make some integrated snorkels, conceptual drawings coming soon...

thoise are just a cheap steel rim, available all over the place,,
another rim that looks like that is the Cragar Soft 8,
check Summit racing,

the aluminum ones are stock 16 inch Explorer wheels powdercoated by Turdle, a member here,,

the flares on that 1st gen are sick ,

that is pretty much exactly what i was thinking!
they will probably be a bit more like this.

but it will be way way cooler cuz they will be on an ex.

as long as i can still open my back doors, it's all good,,

ya me too cuz im fabbing the molds on my 2 door ex, but ill take some measurements from my freinds 4 door so no worries.

Yeah, the more rounded ones will match the more rounded body styling of the GenII better.

Get to work.

i just found a doner ex that i can make the molds on instead of mine, that means i can get started sooner rather than later!

Thanks....thanks a he$$ of a lot.........just one more thing I think I need now.
Them there flares are really nice:thumbsup:

Is that the truck from the top gear north pole episode?

Did I see that you had made a bumper and rack?
How about a few pics of your truck?
