95 Aerostar with a power steering issue.

replaced power steering pump five times...4 times bearing in pump..last time quit working...replaced rack....still makes noise..hard to dteer..could need another rack......by way 8.8 tracking lok works good.better than the 7.5..bolts are a bear to get out

Replace the pump, rack & pinion, and the hoses at the same time. You will have all new components so there is no chance of debris entering new parts from an old part.

95 aeostar power steering

put about 5 pumps on it,steering is almost like manual,do you think rack is bad,,,by way put used rack on it,,first rack was leaking....this van is very sensible way belt is put on also...

Your second thread was merged with the original one. Install a new P/S pump, rack, and lines as previously suggested in post # 2. You will need an alignment too. It might be a good idea to install new tie rods if the old ones are worn down, and leaking grease.
