I've been looking all over the place for a body lift for my 95 Explorer, but have had no luck. 2-3" Is all I am looking for to accomodate some bigger tires. Can anyone help me out?

This is the thing, I see lift kits for 90-94 everywhere I look, can I use one of the kits and if so what mods are necessary? Some links to some places I could get a kit would be nice...

There are no body lifts made specifically for the 95+ Explorer. You'll have to use one for a Ranger or a first gen Explorer, depending on whether you want the 2" or the 3".

Check out this thread, 2nd post, a ways down under the scetion "Making a Body Lift Work on a New Model" It's got all you need to know.

Here's another one that might prove useful.

If you try a a search for "body lift" you'll probably find more threads than you care to read, but those 2 I linked will get you started.

As for where to buy the lift, there's plenty of places for that too. Probably one of the lower priced places would be www.4wheelparts.com or http://www.natltire.com/.

I would prefer to go with the 3" but am still confused as to what to get...

To get your lift blocks: 3" lift: Use Performance Accessories Kit #853 for '95-'97 Rangers (steering extension from this kit will work)

To get your bumper brackets: brackets 883-1 & 883-4 (from the Performance Accessories kit #883 for 98-00 Rangers)

I got the above information from CBoug76 from this thread:

Here's the Performance Accessories website where you can see the lift:

This might help too for the install:
