Hi to everyone,
Recently my 95 explorer 4x4 started to trow (pour) transmission oil like crazy
between bell housing and the block ,added new oil and it came out again,of course i didn't drive the truck
So i call a transmission place and told them my issue and they told me that it was probably just the transmission front seal
So i took the transmission out and indeed
The seal was out,i check everything carefully and got a new front seal new oil
Filter and re install everything back
I was so happy that everything when perfect, the truck ran like new again for like 2months untill today, today again the oil was falling, like crazy like the first time it happen
Can anyone here explain what do you guys think is wrong with it,like i said the transmission runs good,so not sure why the front seal came loose or off again

I call a transmission place again and they think it's the converter, they said that probably it got scratch and it's vibrating enough to pull the seal;*(
Please help

Did you stake it?

Probably a burr on the convertor, I'm not into transmissions, but that's my two cents.

Thought it was a front transmission seal on my son's 2001 Taurus with the AODX. Dropped the sub frame and everything only to find the converter input bushing had cracked. Replaced converter and front transmission seal.

I think he had run it low on fluid and overheated the converter.
