I new as of today but liked what I saw when looking around your forum. We are a Ford family my father retired from Ford. I'm having issues with my 95 Ranger the heater blows out only cold air. The air works great it's just the heater and it will not get hot. Any idea how I might locate the issue?

..Welcome here...:D

..Common items are the blend door, hot-cold switch, vacuum line in dash, or a solenoid...Not that this would exclude a clogged heater core or line to it...That is, if you have already verified the fuses and relays are all in working order..;)

How well does the truck warm up? could also be a themostat stuck open that is not letting the truck warm all the way up.

May want to also check your coolant level too- if you haven't already. Low levels will lead to cool air blowing in. Be sure to check the radiator fill cap not just the overflow container. GOOD LUCK. hope you find the problem.

to elimanate coolant system check both hose that go to the heater core if one is hot and one is cold u know the hater core is block if not is one of the other issuses decribe above heater core are pretty easy to chanhge 2-3 screws and 2 hoseclamps

I'm having the same problem with my 1997 Ranger. The fuses are all good. I've also had the heater checked out. It's getting hot. The climate control door isn't opening to heat and closing to A/C. consequently, it was 24 degrees F this morning and my A/C worked great. Is there an easy way to manually get to this door and flip it?

the ears on the heater box that control the doors may be broke that was another thing that i thought about my brothers exploer had a very similar issue and that is what we found
