95 transfer case ID?

So the transfer case is out , and I need help IDing it , so I can begin to look for a replacement.

It has the auto trans with the dash swithes.

Is this a common problem with Explorers? It has 120,000 on it.

It my sons explorer , and he's short of cash so any help will be appreciated. The shop wants $1200 to rebuild it.

The transfer case went out at 70 mph on the freeway, just lost all power.

Ok I don't know the ID for the transfercase but if it's written on there somewhere I'd be glad to look for it for you. Also, Ford doesn't recommend rebuilding the Control-Trak transfer case for some reason and $1200 is outrageous for rebuilding one. You should certainly check around at junkyards for one.
