95 xlt control trac 4x4 mucho problemo lol

hello fellow exploder owners just wondering if there are any alternatives to replacing my very expensive transmission? like will any of the older ones covert over to my 95??? any help will be greatly appreciated oh yeah it's 4.0 v6 with a automatic with overdrive 4x4 tranny??? thanks anyone that will help l8ter all....:exp:

You can adapt a c4 to your truck, but you would lose OD. You could also swap in a Mazda 5 speed manual. Any other options will likely cost much more than rebuilding your auto.

the tranny is bad i was just wondering if there was an alternative to replacing it with a better tranny than the one in it as it is junk....

i found a good c4 tranny out of a 77 bronco with transfer case, will it bolt up to my 4.o and torque con. to the flywheel or do i need the bronco flywheel as well?? thanks:roll:
