Help, I have a 95 xlt and for the last few months the temp gauge is going up and down drastically. So far I have changed the t'stat, temp sensor, fan clutch and water pump...no change. It has been pressure tested twice by different Mechs, and it is fine. The lastest in the saga is that I smell antifreeze burning, but there are no puddles . The truck runs fine. I have heard that the radiators have plastic tanks and that they can leak and end up on the motor and burn off before it pools...any ideas?
