96/97 Message Center

I am going to keep the blue them with the eatc and the message center. I know this question has been asked but I truly forgot the answer. Will the 96/97 blue lighted message center work in my 98? I know the eatc did not, just need to know if the MC would?

I'll just throw a wrench in saying the LOM module for the lights out warning was deleted in later years. Others may have more specific info. Obviously the software is different.

Thank you, I do now remember that light module item. I will keep the green until I can figure a way to turn it red. Thank you.
