Adding a message center.

Just wondering if its possible to add a message center to a 97 Explorer that did not originally have one

Yessir....just involves a good day, a case of (your choice) and some electrical tape :

Honestly now after having one I would just buy a scan gauge 2 take 5 minutes to set it up and be done. The electronic climate control on the other hand is pretty nice.

do a search, i added one in my sport about a month ago. you will need, or should get the message center for the same year as your truck.

Thanks for all the replies. I pulled a message center out of another 97, but thought I might get lucky and there be a harness already there. Ill search the threads.
