- 96 ford explorer
hello i been a ford fan since i could drive and go play in the mud. my first truck was a 96 explorer sport an it got beat but smiled back. now that im 30 i got another 96 to remind of all the good times I had.
I been doing alot of work to it over the winter days. new rear quarter panels rockers, aftermarket bumpers, lift kit, 33 inch tires, nice power coated rims, and cant forget the green l.e.d.s, but get to the point i m about to do a tranny swap because it has a hard time shifting between 2nd and 3rd gear. I picked up a 94 explorer sport with a manual in it and yap im about to put it in my 96 automatic. Is there any tips and anything i need to look out for and P.S. this website is pretty cool i already found out alot of info on it so thanks a bunch to everyone on here. i thought i was the only explorer fan out there, its hard finding lift kits for it so that why after this project im swapping in jeep axles thank you to who reads this, have an awesome day and GOD BLESS:
