I understand this has been discussed to death on adding lift. Especially and most specifically for Explorer Sport models. I have a 96 4dr with bad sag. I can count the numbers of times I've towed my 150lb tongue weight 12' fishing boat on my fingers so towing is not an issue. My but is just dragging. I'm looking for the simplest solution and am considering Warrior shackles. Background: The truck has 75k on it and is the wifey's people mover. It sees two days a year on the National Seashore in Cape Cod. The auto parts store wants to sell me Ranchos with a 1" lift. I am concerned about ride quality. BTW: no parts stores say they carry coil springs which I swear (last I looked) surround the shocks. I seems replacing these would be the 1st order of business. However I can't find any info in here. Any help much appreciated.

I dont know if you want to go this route or not, but i think air shocks would maybe help? Ive never delt with them but i have heard of people using them to even out a ride. let me know what happens

The rearend was slightly sagging on my x and I intstalled a set of war153 back in june. I got mine from discount4x4parts.com, they were $55.82 delivered to my door. I didn't measure before I installed them but I am impressed with the results. Corrected the sag and didn't make the ride any harsher. The shackles are heavy duty, good quality.

If you tow alot you can also get an AAL.. it'll raise the butt up, but stiffen the ride some. on a 4dr i doubt it would make a horrible difference

excuse my lasy ignorance, just discovered add a leafs
