96 EB 4wd - Front driver side wheel does not rotate freely?

The CV axles are not identical, and the angle that can bind one up can be different. The truck is not identical left to right, how you jack it up may be different, etc, etc. Do as some have suggested and confirm that the axle doesn't bind up when the suspension is not hanging freely. Put the front on jack stands(under the frame), and gently lift the axle side that is not turning freely, just lift it a couple of inches(not enough to lift it off the jack stand).

Then turn the wheel/axle there, we bet it will be easier to rotate by hand then.

The driver's axle could be worn out, or it could be a different brand, or both.
