96 Explorer 4.0 INTO 93 4.0 Ranger, Mounts Won't Match

I was led to believe it would be a simple swap but the engine to frame motor mounts are not even close.

There is no part of the mounts that comes even close to any match

So…. Unbolt the motor plates from the side of your old 4.0 and bolt them onto the new 4.0

The only thing you are using from the 96 will be block and heads
Anyone who told you otherwise has never done this before
