I noticed tubing hanging down underneath yesterday. When i climbed under to inspect, i found that the tubing is attached to a metal line coming out of the top of the differential, the now loose end has a plastic end attached to it, that looks like it clips into something, but I cannot find anything obvious.

Can anyone help?

The plastic cap is a one way vent --
look up on the frame and you should find a metal clip. Just clip it to the edge of the frame, this is how it goes. It is meant to raise the end of the tube high enough to keep it out of deeper water.
