We got a bigger horse trailer and our explorer is a bit bogged down. our mechanic friend suggested flipping the bottom leaf spring around to give us a bit more lift. does anyone know if this works and would you know which order to arrange the springs? thanks:us:

we know the explorer can tow from 3300-6000 (weight capacity - it's on the door and in the owners manual - plus with the hitch we have) our weight with trailer w/ two horses is about 5500 it does fine we don't go far it's just low in the rear.. that's why i was asking. thanks for your time

u can try shackles. theyll lift the back about two inches and cost about 60 bucks.
