'96 Explorer ride height question

I recently replaced the control arms in my 96 explorer sport, and after I finished I noticed that the front of my truck sits much higher than the rear. It's 34" from the ground to the wheel arch on both fronts, and 32" in the back. My question is which is closer to factory? Should I lower the front, or raise the rear? It rides fine, it just looks funny to me.

Trucks bull doggin. Lifting is the way to go. Throw some lift shackles on the back if it bothers you

My question is: why would changing the control arms cause the front end to raise? Did you change the upper or lower, or both. Did you adjust the torsion bars? If momory serves me, I think mine meazures around 32" at the top of the wheel arch. I can meazure it tomorrow if you like.

It probably didn't, but it always rode fine so I never noticed. It might have just changed a little, so it may have been too subtle before. A measurement would be helpful. Others I've seen around town and in pictures have been closer to the rear than the front, the front looks really tall to me, maybe tomorrow I'll take a picture.

Jordanka16, I measured mine (96XLT with 235-75-15's) at 32 1/4" front, 32" rear on the driver side. Right side sits 1/2" lower both front and rear. Measured to top of wheel arch. I recentlylowered ths torsion bar adjusters one turn, as mine also sat a bit nose high. Didn't noticably affect the driving. Did reduce the negative camber slightly.

Thanks for the info, I have 255/70/16s, so they are almost identical in height. I think I will lower the front to 32 and see how that works out before I go about adding anything to the rear.
