96 Explorer Startup Problem

Ok heres the deal, i drive my truck for lets say about an 45mins then i stop somwheres for about 10 20 mins. when i go back to my truck and start it up it starts but it sounds and feels like its goin to stall out the rpm are real low like aroun 100-200 and the voltage needle is low also, but when i leave it sit for like over and hour and go to start it up its fine. Any ideas on what this could be. Thx BTW 96 explorer 4.0lt v6.

Leaky injectors maybe? Bad battery cables that lose conductivity when they're hot? Camshaft position sensor another possibility.
