I am new to this. I have a 96 Ranger XLT. The bracket that holds the shift cable in place broke. I went to Ford and purchased a new shift cable. Now that the new cable is in place it will not shift. Not even by hand on the tranny. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Don't need any help now. Problem fixed. Brake interlock wire shorted.
