The thump seems to be coming from the tranny tunnel close to where a passenger would place their left foot. I only noticed it when stopped and at idle. But, once in my driveway, the noise continued even after the ignition was turned off. It sounded like something with momentum was continuing to spin, slower and slower until it stopped. Any ideas of what I should be looking at? The engine and tranny run very smoothly, but this thumping sounds ominous. Thanks! -Ben
