97 4.0l SOHC engine replacement

The engine in my daughters explorer died last week. No compression. I have a replacement engine for it and would like to know if there is anything I should watch out for when doing the job. A good write up would help. It has been a while since I replaced an engine on anything. Any special tools needed. I can hardly wait.

I don't think there are any step by step write ups. A member just replaced a motor in one, his thread is here. you might find some helpful info, or be able to pick his brain a little.
