I bought a used 97 awd v8 5. 0 explorer, the front drive shaft was missing? I went to pull a part and found the exact same make model and year and removed the front drive shaft. I don't understand how the front drive shaft engages? There are 6you ball bearings at the tc that seems to me just sit in the cup part of the housing? Doesn't seem to really connect to anything? Can't find any information about it and don't want to waste the time installing it in my vehicle if it's not going to work? Anyone know anything about this and how it works?
