I have a 97 xlt with and automatic transmission. In the morning when I put it into gear the truck will move a few feet then "fall out of gear" whie the shif lever is still in drive and then go back in after about thirty seconds. Once it warms up it's fine untill it gets cold again. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I have been doing some research here and want to mention the truck goes into nuetral while it is still in drive. also, the transmission does not slip when accelerating......
