97 Explorer Refrigerant Capacity

Hi all,

I live in France and I need to get the AC recharged. My local garage are doing the job but they can't get any info from the Ford garage (a long way away!) as to how much refrigerant to put in. They want to know the capacity of the system.

I've searched the forum and can't find the answer - does anyone out there know?

It should be printed on the white decal on the radiator support.

This is from a 1998 but should be the same capacity.

I know I am waking an old post, but just to affirm the information listed in the photo, it is correct. I have a 1997 and it is the same.
