Hello all I have been a member for a while and I have been searching alot and I came to an idea I got.

I was wondering since I know the front kit for a ranger will fit on my sport, what if I used the front kit and did a SOA in the rear? Would it work in unison or is this just a crazy idea? I am only looking to go about 4in. Please any criticism and help is appreciated and will be taken into note.

Thanks,
John

P.S
Great forum by the way.

orrrrr... you could use the super lift 4" kit

I know I just figured it would be cheaper to do the 4 in kit for the front with a ranger kit because they are cheap. And then maybe a SOA or use the superlift 4" springs in the rear. If I could do either set up it would be nice because I am on a budget and have a personal reference to stay away from body lifts.

Thanks for the response.

superlift kits are on sale right now

John.. if you go SOA you'll get about 5" in the rear. Which usually works out well since the rear of the Explorer is typically lower than the front. Many people have used the combination you're asking about. A SOA will be better in virtually all aspects too.

Thanks for the input guys. I have been doing my research and I will be going with one of the 2 combination's in the next couple weeks. Oh and another question I had read about in another post. Something about brake brackets and stuff being smaller or different on the ranger? I was just wondering if it is a bolt on front kit or any mods?

Thanks
