My "new" engine is out of a '97 Ranger - same motor (OHV). I feel some heat at my feet while driving (no, the heat's not on). The temp gauge never budges but I've feeling this heat since I got this motor..don't know why I'm just now asking about it. Also, the shop who did the install said they had to clean some mud out of my radiator. I'm thinking it might still be blocked up a little so the motor runs hot.
I'm worried the motor, with only about 24K miles on it, is going to die early because it seems to be running hot.
Thoughts?
