97 Ranger with a rough idle.

have 97 ranger, 4.0, idles high and runs rough when first started. Code
has a P1506 and 171 and 174 running lean. what will fix this problem

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the Ranger section. Check for an intake manifold gasket leak, vacuum hose leak, bad spark plug cables, and dirty spark plugs causing a lean mixture.
