97+ SOHC Fuel Pump Issues

Wondering if anyone who owns a 97+ SOHC where the fuel pump had to be changed unusually frequent.

I had the fuel pump replaced in September 2001 at a dealer, still under warranty.

I had it replaced again in March 2004.

I have owned 9 Ford vehicles over 18 years, and have never had to change a fuel pump before, and now I have changed it in one vehicle twice in 2 1/2 years.

We had to replace ours once so far. This is a 1995 and happened about 230K. Just died in a parking lot.

You might want to do a search here for "fuel pump" or 1997 common problems or something like that.
