97 Sport 2dr SOHC 4.10 AWESOME!

My bad Explorer is a 1997 Sport w/SOHC option. The 4.10 gears are awesome. On the street, I get lots of blank stares as I smoke Grand Cherokee's and Blazers. I put an extended shackle kit in it last weekend and it looks great. No more squatting ass look. Put the new +4 platinum plugs in it. Gets 1 mpg more now (will pay for itself in 10,400mi). Not to mention the increase in power. My 5.0 mustang wishes it was this quick off of the line (mustang has 2.73 gears) Did some work on the intake where the top of the air box bolts on to the MAF. Just smoothed it out a bit. Will be drilling some huge holes in the bottom half this weekend. Looking forward to getting a cat-back system. But I want duals. Think it can be done? Also will crank up the torsion adjusters this weekend. Will post some pics soon. Keep on truckin'

Wow, thanks for the update. I was just searching for different things and came across this. Plus, yes I thought it was kinda funny to bring up a 4 year old post.
