98 3.0 to 4.0ohv swap

well this is my first post guys so hope yall can help me out on some pointers ...i have recently purchases a 98 b3000 4x4 with a blown engine ...i had a 4.0ohv from a 98 explorer that runs great i am putting in it ...so far i changed the transmission bellhousing and and have to motor bolted in it the truck...i know i have to have a 4.0 wiring harness because the engine was in a manual truck and i have to change the Ypipe .....but the questions i have are is there a difference between a 4x4 engine wiring harness than a regular 2wheel and does the computer have to be a 4wheel drive too ....this is my first engine swap ever and im a little confused about the wiring cause i done have a wiring diagram....any info will be great thanks
