I'm looking to do a TT lift on the front of my ex. Just wondering a few things. I'm going to lift 2 inches. Is it going to hurt my axles or off road capabilities? And I understand it will need an alignment. The toe and camber I'm assuming. I plan on doing this all myself. Is this a good idea and what will I need ?? As far as alignment camber?

i just picked this ex up for 750 bucks for a daily driver weekend wheeler. Im trying to keep it on a budget. any ifo is really appreciated

The lift won't hurt your offroad capabilities. however, let a shop do the alignment. i know you said you were trying to keep it on a budget, but wearing out tires at $100.00 or more a swipe, isn't sheaper than a $55.00 alignment. tires are much more expensive than a correct alignment. guess i'm saying, don't spend a dollar to save a dime .... just saying.

Thanks for the reply. I'll have a shop do the alignment after I lift it. Pretty sure I'm just going to keep the mono leaf for now in the rear and fab up my own shackles at work

It could shorten the life of your cv's as they have to run at a more extreme angle and you will loose suspension droop making the truck drop into holes instead of letting the suspension soak it up but you will get more ground clearance and up travel.
