Some info, it acts like it is not running on all cylinders and then if I keep trying to get it to go, all of a sudden it will run great and take off.
Trying to figure out this issue. I have done all normal things you would think of: plugs, wires, coil pack, Upper intake gaskets, fuel filter.

Thought it was the CATs plugged up so I removed the exhaust. Only codes are for the O2 sensors.

I was thinking maybe it was the computer so I picked up another one. I cannot get it to start with the replacement computer though. I suspect the computer would need the keys programmed to it.

Any ideas?

Intermittent problem

Intermittent problems are difficult to isolate.

Did the symptoms get worse after replacing the spark plugs, wires and coilpack? If so, what brand and type of plugs did you install? What gap did you use? Are all of the electrical connections tight?

Check the electrical connection to the MAF sensor.

Try cleaning the electrical connection to the crankshaft position sensor by disconnecting/reconnecting it a couple times.

I suggest that you check the fuel pressure. Your fuel pump may be unreliable.

I did the plugs and wires before last winter. I am trying to think when the issue started. It was towards the beginning of this winter. I had done the intake gaskets but I do not remember if it was before or after that.

For sure after the issue started I also replaced the EGR. It was definitely bad and I was thinking the engine maybe just had a bad vacuum leak.

I checked the fuel pressure and it was good at idle and revving it a little in the garage. It is a cheap Harbor Freight unit and it leaks a bit so I did not drive with it on.

This weekend I will start looking at electrical connections.

Another thing to add is that after test driving it I pulled the plugs that I could easily get at and they were pretty wet with fuel. Someone on reddit suggested that the evap purge valve may be stuck and to unhook it from the intake.
