My 98 6cyl ohv explorer started hesitating about 6 months ago just the odd time up hills. It's really cold today -10C and it started doing it just with normal driving. It would be like that for about 5 miniutes and then drive fine for another 5. I know it's not the drive train because it does it at idle too. In park its not too bad but when I put it in drive it gets worse. I noticed the exhaust smelled funny too. Any ideas?
