When I bought my 98 Explorer the subwoofer was blown and disconnected. The explorer had its OEM head unit replaced with an aftermarket DUAL XD1225 radio. When we went to replace the subwoofer we discovered that the radio doesnt support a connection from the radio to the amplifier. Would I have to replace the head unit with one that supports a connection to the amplifier? Or is there some way to make the subwoofer work with the aftermarket radio?
