Hi All---i'm New To The Board So If My "style" Is A Little Jerky I Apoligize. Here Is The Problem--i'm Rebuilding The 4.0 Sohc--i'm Going Thru The Engine Totally Replacing All Of The Guides,tensioners,bearings,etc. (i Bought The Car As A Project Because The Engine Failed --end Of The Crankshaft Broke Off@109m)--anyway I'm Putting New Bearings In The Balancer Assembly--my Question-- Does The Balancer Shaft Have To Be Aligned To The Drive Gear On The Front Of The Assembly?--i Notice That There Is A Hole In The Shaft That Could Serve To Align With The Hash Marks On The Chain Driven Gear--thanks In Advance
