I have the premium sound package, and have many items on my to do list. I wanted to get a new head unit, but people are saying that the 6-disc changer in the console is incompatible with many head units. Who makes the changer? I would rather get a 40.4 head unit than buy an amp to power mids and tweeters, and get an additional amp for the subs.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Intns9,

I just put in some Vega Stealth 6x8's and a pioneer 200w.4 amp to power them.
I also have 2 pioneer 12's (that sound like ****) powered by a 360.2 pioneer. It gives me a headache, so I am happy now. I think I want to get a new box though, I have a bandpass that rattles like hell. What do you prefer, sealed?

I have 6 sealed 10s i would never put bandpass in my worst enemy's car. if you want percission you want to go with the sealed box
