98 ranger need help with console

how do i remove the inner tub (outlined in green) of the center console, so i can access the 3 bolts (red dots) holding the hinge on?

Pull up the "carpet" at the bottom of the center console, on it's edges and you will see 4 screws. Remove these and lift out the plastic liner assy. I just refurbished my console in my '99 a few months ago. And it really wasn't too bad of a job to either.

actually ended up just rigging it.... drilled holes where those red dots are, and took out the hinge.... replaced it with the $20 replacement grey one i got @ the junkyard.... might post some pics at a later date...... looks 100 times better than it did
