98 rear speaker take out

i cant find on the thread how to remove the rear speakers on the 98. i lost my handbook to the truck so i dont know if it was in there or not. does the grill come off or do i have to remove the whole panal to get to the speaker. and those are 6x8 back there right?

Ya the grill pops right off. Just use a screw driver and push down and pry out on the top of the grill. You can figure it out, its easy.

wait what do you guys mean? you dont need to take off the interior door panel to take the stock speakers out, or am i thinking otherwise?

Since you have a 2003, if you did have a sport you would have to take out your whole rear side panel.
