99 4.0sohc oil pan bolt head

I am trying to pull the oil pan on my 1999 4.0 SOHC and it seems that the head size on the bolts is not anything that I have in my tool box. Is there a special socket to buy or did someone just round off my bolts when they tried to get into it before? I dont want to just knock on a socket to remove them if it is a special size that I can buy the proper tool to romove.

If you are removing the lower pan, it should just be a standard 6 point metric hex socket. That is what mine were. 8mm size comes to mind, but don't take my word for it.

The SOHC lower pan bolts should be a 10mm head.
