I managed to do my headlights, will the fogs be easier? Headlights were a pain in the ass with the tight spacing, wheres a good place to mount the ballast, i looked at P51s thread and i mounted my headlight ballast to where he mounted his fogs.

I just posted my install from my '00 sport (http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=303661). It was pretty straight forward, I mounted the ballast up inside the front clip but depending on the size of your ballast there are plenty of mounting options, Just make sure you take into account the length of the bulb harness.

question....i want Xenon bulbs in my 99 xlt....but from what i think im reading correctly i'd have to get a HID conversion kit?? is that what youve done Kyle? WTF does that involve? buying a kit that comes with a ballast? will xenon bulbs fit into my bulb socket? and i can keep my origional lens? Looks like youve got a 99 like i do...4door SOHC. Can you tell me what youve had to purchase to put Xenon bulbs in your headlights?? I'd like to hopefully get it all on amazon and get it done in one day. Easy to do?

i got my kit on ebay for about $60 .. i got the 10ks and they light up beautifully, they are a pain in the ass because of spacing. The fogs i couldnt due because the way that ford made the socket you cant just slap an hid bulb into it, you need to sale it with silicon

Cool deal. Thanks for the info! I just want to see further and have it lit up brighter! have a great winter!

(and go Gamecocks)
