99 Explorer,4.0 SOHC,p0455 code,oil leak.

Hello, I have a 99 Explorer 4.0 SOHC, 165K+ miles. Its a little of over 1qt low of oil. It left a puddle in my driveway the other night. I found oil coming from the DS of the engine, closest to the fire wall. No smoke, does not knock. Runs fine. I stuck my hand around the back of the engine,between the firewall and engine and found a puddle of oil, around the center, towards the bottom. Oil on the back of heads,exhaust, and cat. Engine runs strong, tranny is 4 years old. (rebuilt that) Need 4x4 in Wisco, hunt,fish, and winters can be brutal at times. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'd say you have leaky valve cover gaskets.

So I removed the upper and lower intake manifold. The valley is full of oil. Not sure what the grey box in the pic is below.
