- 1999 Explorer XLT
My wife has a 99 Explorer XLT. There were a few time that it would not start. She would let it sit for awhile then try again and it would start okay. Now it will not start at all! The engine will turn but it will start.
I have been told to check the fuel pump relay in the fuse box but I am not sure on how to check to see if it is good. I do have a amp/volt meter.
I have also been told that it could be my fuel pump. How do I test for that? Also I have checked the fuel pump reset button on the passenger floor board and it looks to be pressed in so I do not think it is that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
